BACK IN THE DAY

Image
Canva AI Image BACK IN THE DAY Describe a risk you took that you do not regret. (Poetry Prompt) WordPress There once was a time when I’d take risks. Back in the day of floppy disks. I wasn’t scared and I felt free. To take a risk willingly. But nowadays I am numb. Not quite sure what I’ve become. Where’s the girl that I once was? Who loved to chase an adrenaline buzz! She’s not here. I’m someone new. Molded by all that I’ve been through. Yes, I’ve changed but I’m still me. And I’d risk it all to be happy! THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS

Image
Canva AI Image THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS   *Describe a random encounter with a stranger that stuck out positively to you. (Poetry Prompt)* In a world full of dangers It’s the kindness of strangers That can leave a lasting impression So here is my confession Once when I was feeling low And couldn’t survive another blow A stranger walked up to me Eyes smiling happily “I just wanted you to know” ”I’ve never seen such a glow” ”Like a diamond, you shine so bright” ”Your Auras pure. A brilliant white” And just like that, he turned to go And I don’t think he will ever know Just what his words did for me I walked away. Smiling happily. THE ABSENSE OF SILENCE

Image
Canva AI Image The Absence Of Silence The Absence Of Silence   (Rewrite 3.10.2025) (Poetry Prompt - Noise) In the absence of silence You’re left with the noise. Imagine if chaos Abruptly had poise. Have you ever been able To hear written words? Become one with nature? Sing with the birds? Embracing the silence Is one of your choices. Or walking in noise Surrounded by voices! Some of it heals you Some can destroy. I always choose The kind that brings joy. With all the varieties Of sound to be heard. Choosing gets hard The path can be blurred. So turn down the dial And just counterpoise. Or amp up the volume To live in the noise! Original Poetry Written By: Eryn Dunbar Copyright (c) 2.23.2025
