TUMBLEWEEDS - A Poem By: Oliver Hernandez

Image
Tumbleweeds can’t wait for Spring That’s when they become unanchored Then to unsuspecting vehicles they’ll fling Crash! They go, splattering themselves into 1000’s of pieces Or unto the median they’ll lodge Waiting for the winds to change direction Perhaps they’ll find another vehicle that won’t be able to dodge And scatter, go all the pieces once again When the winds calm down & turn into a breeze In the Summer once again anchored & no where to go The dust & pollen no longer make you sneeze But wait until next Spring when they will be freed to roam Original Poetry Written By Oliver Hernandez Copyright (c) April 2025 Poetry Published By Eryn Dunbar

PATTERNS

Image
Canva AI Image Patterns Will I ever be truly ready, to fall in love again? If the answer is yes… then how, why, where, and when? Am I standing in my own way? Is it a pattern I can break? I just don’t think I can handle, another bad heartache. Am I the problem in the relationship? Is it me who will always fail? Or have I waited far too long and that ship’s already set sail? Can someone please help me, make sense of this turmoil in my heart? It’s the honest truth… I don’t have the first clue where to start. I fear that rabbit hole is trying to grab me one more time. And if no one will lend a hand, I might not survive another climb. So maybe I’ll go tuck tail, and stay safely in my protective bubble. That way I won’t have to worry myself about anymore heartbreak trouble. So if you have any advice, that you would not mind sharing with me.. I think I’d finally be on my way, to living my life more happily! Original Poetry Written By Eryn Dunbar Copyright (c) 5.7.2025

I Shall Meet You Here - A Poem By: JT Cartwright

In our dreams we shall meet We shall meet in the safest of places Where we can be together and heal alone For if we were together in the physical, the broken pieces may cut But here my love I can hold you close, and cause no damage I look forward to these moments with you In pure serenity In the silence Just hearts beating Bravely loving one another Until the day our dreams become reality I shall meet you here. Please my love Do not just kiss me goodnight Kiss me all through the night For when the darkness comes that's when I need you the most. Original Poetry Written By JT Cartwright Copyright (c) 2025 Published By Eryn Dunbar

Untitled - A Poem By: JT Cartwright

My darlin, I hope you're out there making a way in this world. I hope that joy and happiness is healing your heart. Please Love, take your time. Your healing is so important to me. For my heart is healing as well. And I can't hold both our hearts in the same hand. I fear mine would damage yours. I want to be two parts of a whole. Not two parts of parts. So please Love, take all the time you need. I'll be here healing and patiently waiting for you to come home. Original Poetry Written By JT Cartwright Copyright (c) 2025 Published By Eryn Dunbar

A LIFE OF POETRY

Image
A Life Of Poetry The way you write. Makes me so hot. So hear me out. I’ll shoot my shot. Is there a chance? That you and me? Could live a life? Of poetry? With these vows. Our wings take flight. A love like ours. Could light the night. I’m asking you. To marry me. Together in. Perfect Harmony. Please say yes. And take my hand. And by your side. I’ll always stand. Give me a chance. I’ll make you see. The two of us. Will live happily! Original Poetry Written By Eryn Dunbar Copyright (c) 5.6.2025

SING INTO THE SILENCE

Image
Canva AI Image Sing Into The Silence Sing into the silence. To help end all the violence. Your voice needs to be heard. Speak your truth with every word. Always  stand up and stand tall. Even when your back’s against the wall. Be proud. Don't be afraid. Get on your path if you have strayed. Be strong when others are not able. Help them to become more stable. Don’t ever give up the fight. You can help to make things right. Spread your light upon this earth. By showing others what they’re worth. With the inner flame you always bring. Remember in the silence, it’s okay to sing. Original Poetry Written By Eryn Dunbar Copyright (c) 4.30.2025

I DON'T CHASE

Image
Canva AI Image I Don’t Chase We are through, and I’m done trying. I'm sick of all your constant lying. Our relationship has been slowly dying. And I’m not willing to continue crying. When we met, I was sure it was fate. I had thought, we were doing great. I wanted to wipe clean the slate. Do not worry, I will not retaliate. But I’m feeling lost. Need to break free. I will not be a victim, willingly. If only I could have made you see. That you had it all when you had me. It's not the first trial I have had to face. I will not miss your embrace. You will be so easy to replace. But I'm walking away... Because I don’t chase. Original Poetry Written By Eryn Dunbar Copyright (c) 4.25.2025

I SAVED MY SOUL

Image
Canva AI Image I Saved My Soul You stole my heart You fucking thief I don’t know how To end my grief I’m feeling lost I’m not myself You’ve really fucked My mental health I tried so hard To make you see That I am layered There’s more to me But all you saw Was my face You tried to steal My inner grace So I up and left I walked away I remember it rained On that day Now I’m free And I’ll soon be whole For by leaving you I saved my soul Original Poetry Written By Eryn Dunbar Copyright (c) 4.25.2025
