TUMBLEWEEDS - A Poem By: Oliver Hernandez
Tumbleweeds can’t wait for Spring That’s when they become unanchored Then to unsuspecting vehicles they’ll fling Crash! They go, splattering themselves into 1000’s of pieces Or unto the median they’ll lodge Waiting for the winds to change direction Perhaps they’ll find another vehicle that won’t be able to dodge And scatter, go all the pieces once again When the winds calm down & turn into a breeze In the Summer once again anchored & no where to go The dust & pollen no longer make you sneeze But wait until next Spring when they will be freed to roam Original Poetry Written By Oliver Hernandez Copyright (c) April 2025 Poetry Published By Eryn Dunbar
