THEIR INFINITE GLOW

Image
Canva AI Image Their Infinite Glow I’m divinely protected, By the angels above. They guide all my days, And surround me with love. I never worry, If something’s amiss. They calm me right down. With their angelic kiss. And when I feel lost, They lead me the right way. And I’ll always follow, The things that they say. Are they my spirit guides? Guess I’ll never know. But I’ll bask in the glory, Of their infinite glow. Need help finding yours? Are you feeling afraid? I'll walk with you. On the stones your angels have laid.  Original Poetry Written By Eryn Dunbar Copyright (c) 6.17.2025

BY YOUR SIDE

Image
Canva AI IMage By Your Side You got some bad news. Let me hold your hand. No matter what, By your side I will stand. I want you to know, That I’m here for you. Together, we’ve got this. We’ll get you through. We’re wading through waves. In an ocean, so deep. But I’ll stay by your side. That’s the promise I’ll keep. I won’t turn my back. I won’t walk away. No matter what happens, I’ll never stray. You got some bad news. Your heart's feeling broken. So I hold you close. And no words are spoken. If I could only, Make you finally see. You’ve found a best friend. You get all of me. I’ll always be here. We’re bonded for life. No matter the problem. No matter the strife. So you got some bad news. But I’m by your side. I’ve wiped away all, The tears you have cried. I’ll do my best, To help you stay strong. I’ll work on a strategy, To fix what went wrong. But together we’ll make it. I solemnly swear. For we’re stronger together. In this love that we share. Original Poetry Written By Eryn Du...

FROM JUST AN EMBER

Image
From Just An Ember I let you in My walls came down And then you tore me To the ground I realize now It was too quick I should’ve done it Brick by Brick But lesson learned And heart protected You know the one.. That you rejected But look at me I’m proud to say That I recovered In just one day I’ve refocused And I’m more grounded With an inner peace I’m surrounded Looking inward Heart and mind My life’s purpose I did find I’m meant to write My words can heal So I will share All that I feel And my mistakes Will help you learn That you already Brightly burn Guard your heart But do remember You created fire From just an ember Original Poetry Written By Eryn Dunbar Copyright (c) 6.22.2025

TILL WE BOTH ASCEND

Image
TILL WE BOTH ASCEND Suddenly I get a chill. And then I feel the greatest thrill. Your face is staring back at me. It’s more than just a memory. I smell your scent upon a breeze. It calms my heart. I’m filled with ease. I swear that I can feel you near. I think that you are really here. I feel your hand upon my cheek. I try but I can’t seem to speak. Tears start running down my face. Because now I’m wrapped in your embrace. I try my best to catch my breath. I’ve been so lost since your death. The days are blurred and I’ve lost track. But somehow, someway you’ve made it back. A cosmic design. My one soulmate. Divinely touched. The hands of fate. Brought us together once again. Reunited with my best friend. A love so grand it must transcend. I won't let go, till we both ascend. For a bond like ours can never end. Original Poetry Written By Eryn Dunbar Copyright (c) 6.19.2025

WATERFALLS

Image
Canva AI Image Waterfalls You see a blank canvas. While I see bare walls. Where I see leaky faucets. You see waterfalls. You hear a dad joke. And laugh throughout the day. Where I just roll my eyes. Shake my head and walk away. They say opposites attract. You’re the Yin and I’m the Yang. I just can’t get enough. I circle back. A boomerang. Through your eyes I see the world. In such a different light. It’s like my eyes were closed. And you gave me back my sight. I can’t imagine life. Without you by my side. You’ve wiped away my pain. And all the tears I’ve cried. As far as I’m concerned. We’ll always be together. So there’s something I must ask. Will you marry me forever? Original Poetry Written By Eryn Dunbar Copyright (c) 6.18.2025

PURE AND TENDER

Image
Canva AI Image Pure And Tender I’m falling to pieces Like a puzzle unfinished I move like a zombie With my vision diminished Which way do I turn My path is unclear Being lost and alone Is my greatest fear If I reach out my hand Will you pull me close I need your courage Like I need a dose Will you be my companion Will you walk with me Will you show me the way Or will you only flee I desperately need you My partner in crime I feel like I’m starting To run out of time My heart’s feeling frozen My emotions are numb So my arms are wide open You need only come Please come to me I need your strength I’m willing and able To go any length Your love gives me power You’re one of a kind There is no one better That I’ll ever find So let’s walk this path Us two together And share in a love That will last forever I reach out my hand To you I surrender Two lives joined as one In a love pure and tender Original Poetry Written By Eryn Dunbar Copyright (c) 6.17.2025

Monsters In The Dark - A Poem By Adam Akers

"Monsters in the Dark"  Shadows creep upon the wall Where fears and doubts begin to call The darkness whispers, it taunts and plays As monsters hide in secret ways In dreams, they lurk with eyes aglow Their presence felt, though unseen, they grow The heart beats fast, the soul feels pain As terror reigns, and hope's in vain I tell myself they are all gone But in shadows and darkness, they continue to spawn The boy inside me that fears and dreads Still trembles with each creaking thread But when the light begins to shine The monsters falter, lose their design Their power wanes as dawn breaks near And in the light, they disappear Yet in the silence of a quiet night A newer fear arises, a different plight The shadows fade, the monsters sleep But I'm left with the fear of emptiness deep The fear of years that slowly pass Of reaching out for hands that won't last And in the darkness, every face I see Hides its own shadows, its own secrecy No warmth of love, no gentle h...

Anxiety's Grip - A Poem By Adam Akers

Anxiety’s Grip As anxiety's heavy fog descends, A weight that presses, never ends. It builds and swirls, a churning sea, Until the storm breaks, and I'm lost in me. The calm before, a fragile peace, A whispered promise, "It won't release." But tension coils, a tightening spring, The anticipation, a heart that clings. The world outside recedes from view, As inner turmoil takes its cue. The thoughts that swirl, a maddening pace, A discordant hum, in a troubled place. In this chaos, I search for a shore, A place to anchor, and be still once more. But like a ship in a tempest-tossed night, I'm driven by waves, without a guiding light. The attack arrives, a crushing weight, A suffocating grip, a desperate fate. The breath that falters, the heart that races, A mind that's lost, in frantic, fearful places. But slowly, gradually, the storm subsides, The waves recede, and I step outside. The weight lifts, and I breathe once more, A fragile calm, on shaky ground I s...

Shadows Of The Past - A Poem By Adam Akers

Shadows of the past Your inner child carries scars that never fade, A weight that presses down, a burden to be made. In life and love, you search for a gentle hand, But every touch feels fleeting, lost in the sand. You yearn for love, for someone to see, The real you, beyond the walls you've built to be. But no matter how you give, no matter how you try, It's never enough, and tears fall, wondering why. Heartbreak echoes, a shattered soul's refrain, Your world upside down, consumed by pain. You claw your way back, through darkness and despair, A never-ending battle, with no one there to care. Nice people get taken, their kindness exploited and worn, Left alone with thoughts that fester and scorn. Fear of love again, fear of trust, a heart locked away, Afraid to let someone in, afraid of the price you'd pay. In the well of life, you're lost and alone, Forever searching for a way back home. Your heart, a fragile thing, shattered and worn, Longing for love, but afraid ...

Mask And Mirrors - A Poem By Adam Akers

"Masks and Mirrors"   Behind the façade of a functioning life, A storm rages, a war that cuts like a knife. Overthinking, a maze with no escape, A mind that dissects each thought, each ache. In the mirror, a reflection stares, A stranger's eyes, with shadows that glare. The weight of emotions, a burden to bear, A heart that beats, yet feels like stone, with care. The world outside moves, unaware, Of the battles fought, the tears that fall like rain. But in the silence, I scream, I cry, A voice that's muffled, lost in the haze of my mind. In this darkness, I search for a light, A beacon to guide me through the endless night. A glimmer of hope, a chance to break free, From the chains of thoughts that bind me. My surroundings mirror my inner state, A room once tidy, now cluttered and late. The weight of my body, heavy as lead, My mind a whirlwind, my thoughts unsaid. In relationships, a delicate dance, A balance between truth and a masked trance. I yearn for connection, ...
