LEAVING ME LONELY, LOST AND BEREFT


FALLING IN SADNESS, FAILING TO SLEEP

KNOWING YOUR MEMORY IS ALL THAT I KEEP


STRUGGLING TO RISE FROM THE BED WHERE I LAY

YOU'VE BEEN GONE FOR A YEAR, FIVE MONTHS AND A DAY


I'VE NOT FELT YOUR PRESENCE, IN FACT I FEEL VERY LITTLE

DROWNING IN PAIN, MY HEART IS SO BRITTLE


FALLING IN DARKNESS, FAILING TO THRIVE

YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE GONE BUT I'M BARELY ALIVE


HOW CAN I LIVE WHEN YOU'RE NO LONGER HERE?

FALLING IN MADNESS, FLAILING IN FEAR


I KNOW WHAT I NEED, I NEED TO LET GO

BUT I'M STILL IN LOVE, THIS IS MY TALE OF WOE

Hi Anonymous. I agree with you about time. It doesn't make you miss them any less. The heartache can indeed drive you insane. I read somewhere recently though, that when you are hurting most, or even just when you are just thinking about them, that this is when they are with you the most. Reading this (and believing it) really helped me with the grieving. If you ever need to talk, I am here for you. Sending you strength, healing and love. Eryn
