LOSING MY LIGHT

I feel like I'm fading

I'm losing my light

I will not give it up

I'm so worth the fight

Someone please see me

I am more than myself

I don't want my life

To be put on a shelf

I have so much to offer

So much to be shared

I have been blessed

So why am I scared

Worried I'm missing

Something more to this life

Maybe I want to be

Somebody's wife

But I feel like I'm fading

I'm losing my spark

Here comes the night

My mind's going dark

But I'm in a pit

Can't get out on my own

My dream is to write

But I'm still an unknown

We all have these day, what defines our character is not how we act when times are good be how we act and react when times are tough or bad.
