Do you ever ask yourself

The question, What If? 

That there's more to life

Than a meme or a gif?

What else is out there?

What's life about?

Do you ever wonder

If you're missing out?

Wondering if the world

Has left you behind?

Go take a class

Become more refined.

Should you go on adventures?

Yes, go and explore!

What if opportunity knocks?

Should you open that door?

What if you never went

To that dance?

Never gave that girl

Any real chance?

What if that boy

Never fascinates you?

Never get the chance

To say I Love You?

Life is a journey

So please don't sit still.

Grab onto it all

Take hold of your will.

Go take that trip

And twirl on the cliff.

But whatever you choose

Embrace your What If.

It's really hard to take a chance...much scarier than people realize I think. I wish I was more brave and took more chances for myself, Brian.

I really like this poem…..we all do have what ifs through our life. I feel at some point, we understand that life is a Journey. Choices to make each and every day. For me….I have come to settle that I do not have to go to the what ifs anymore. Learning to be settle with my choices. There is something eternal with all of us I feel. From that perspective I hold…..the Journey truly never ends.

  FOOL'S GOLD Never again You won’t see my face The way you treat others Is such a disgrace Your essence is toxic Your lips drip with lies You’re selfish and hateful Beneath your disguise You’re like a fungus A spore or black mold You think you’re a gem But you’re just fool’s gold You’re made up of layers But even snakes shed their skin You’re not only noxious You’re the eighth deadly sin It took at most months And not several years To see how you prey Upon everyone’s fears You find out their secrets Then laugh as you share Breaking their hearts They just laid out bare But here’s a little something  I guess you didn’t know Those others you talk to See how you dim their glow They like themselves more Than they’ll ever like you They’ll have long walked away Before you’ll have your first clue So go wear your charm And spin your tall tales The ship that I’m on Has long set its sails Now I’ve risen up And I’ve slammed the door I won't allow you to imprint On my life  ANYMORE O...
