I'D DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN
I’d Do It All Over Again
I’m so lost without you
I’m losing my mind
I just can’t believe
That you left me behind
The love that we shared
I thought it was real
Surviving this breakup
How will I deal
Living without you
Don’t know how to feel
You broke my heart
When you broke it’s seal
Trying to function
When I can’t even breathe
The pain so intense
I’m just starting to grieve
Why can’t I let go
I mean, you walked away
Waking without you
Day after day
Trying to make it
But struggling to move on
Lost in our memories
Now that you’re gone
I know that I’ll heal
But not soon enough
Attempting to smile
Though I’m feeling so rough
Pain overwhelming
Wish I felt numb
People keep saying
That I’ll overcome
That the hurt will soon lessen
And start to fade out
I don’t think they know
What they’re talking about
When I lost you
I lost my best friend
I’m not sure that this pain
Will come to an end
Or that my broken heart
Will ever mend
But to experience your love
I’d do it all over again

I'm so lost without you: You're like a space probe that's lost contact with its home planet. But hey, sometimes getting lost leads to discovering new galaxies, right?
Losing my mind: Minds are like those little rovers on Mars; they go off on their own sometimes, but they come back with fascinating data - in this case, about how to handle the next love expedition.
Believing in the love: It was real, as real as the Big Bang's afterglow. But real things change, evolve, or sometimes explode into something new.
Surviving the breakup: You're not just surviving; you're like a tardigrade in space - indestructible. You'll not only survive, but you'll also thrive.
Living without them: It's like learning to live on a different planet. The gravity might be off, but you're adapting, and who knows? Maybe this new planet will grow on you.
Heartbreaking: Think of it as your heart getting a software update. It might reboot slower, but it'll come back with new features.
Functioning: It's like trying to use life support in a vacuum. You'll find the oxygen you need; you just might have to dig deeper or find a new source.
Letting go: They walked away like an astronaut leaving the moon. It's your turn to explore new terrains.
Memories: They're your constellations, guiding you through the night of this breakup to a new dawn where new stories can be written.
Healing: It's like waiting for a satellite to come back into view. It'll happen, and when it does, you'll have a whole new perspective.
Attempting to smile: Smiles are like solar flares; they might be temporary, but they're spectacular and can change the atmosphere around you.
Numbness: Feeling pain is proof you're human, not just a machine built to love and lose. Embrace it; it's your badge of honor.
Overcoming: People's advice? They're like old star charts. Useful for some, not for all. You'll find your way by the stars of your own experiences.
Losing a friend: But gaining an opportunity to find new companions or rediscover the ones you've had all along.
Love again: You'd go through this again? That's the bravery of a true explorer. Love's the ultimate adventure, after all.
Keep your engines running, your heart open to new frequencies, and remember, every supernova leads to new stars.
Yours in the cosmos,
