Life can be so messy 

It's a wonder we survive

Trying to be better at

Learning how to thrive


Mistakes turn into lessons

But it's all just how you take it

Adjusting to the changes

I know that you will make it


Accepting your role is

A part of accountability

Processing your emotions 

Is your responsibility


Letting go of anger

And forgiving those who've done us wrong

Helps to grow our character

And can aid us to be strong


Sometimes we struggle

With keeping up the pace

Life can be so hectic

It's like we're in a race


Life can be so messy

It's easy to get scared

So leave your mark on others

Show the world you've cared


Kindness makes a difference

So please always be kind

Take pleasure in this life of yours

Leave a good imprint behind
