Full of pain and strife

I will always be so grateful
For the joy that you've brought me

Surrounding me with love
For all the world to see

You are like a ray of sunshine
Or trickling water in a brook

You fill up all my pages
Like you're from my favorite book

I can access all my trauma
With you forever by my side

You are the absolute best therapy
I have ever even tried

So thank you for your kindness
Warmth you've shared so happily

I also thank the Lord
For answering my plea

So blessed by your inner beauty
Forever in your debt

Cherished beyond measure
I am so honored that we met

A friendship full of laughter It will never see an end. So I thank you so very deeply You have a big piece of my heart. I will always be grateful That in my life you became a part.
