THE HANDS OF FATE

THE HANDS OF FATE

I traveled to the land where thunder lies

Heard the screams of a virgin sacrifice

Walked through the dark lord's deepest layer

Heard his followers chant his prayer

Ran from this world I couldn't escape

They leave your body, it's your soul they rape

They own your life, even before your death

I suggest you have a plan, when you take your last breath

You'd better start now, before it's too late

The hours creep by, the hands of fate

You're losing your mind, but you’re already insane

You think you hurt now, but you've yet to feel pain

I speak from knowledge, I know this is real

The pain that I've felt, the pain that you'll feel

So consider my words, when you take your last breath

It's your soul in hell, when you enter death

Thank you, Brandon. Definitely different than my usual poetry. I think I realized at that young age that I needed to try and broaden my range of writing abilities. This was one of my attempts at doing so.

Sounds like this can be an interesting conversation, there's a lot ways to describe being spiritually confused or something deeper. Since 2nd grade I was interested in learning about many things Man, Myth & MAJIK was a magazine subscription my dad got me my mom had a book burning party dad thought it was (pull a rabbit out of a hat) type magic lol learning about the occult helped working with teens and young adults especially thru the church
