A JOURNEY AND A GIFT

A Journey And A Gift

Don’t be scared of your trauma
Be brave and finally face it

Dreams can be reality
If only you will chase it

And when opportunity presents itself
Be ready to embrace it

Sadness can turn to happiness
If you’re willing to replace it

Life is a journey and a gift...
Stop trying to outrace it

Don't be scared of your trauma Be brave and finally face it:
Trauma is like a shadow - always there but often ignored. Facing it takes courage, not just to see the pain but to understand and heal from it. This bravery is the first step towards reclaiming your life, where trauma becomes just a part of your story, not the whole narrative.

Dreams can be reality If only you will chase it:
Dreams aren't just fleeting fantasies; they're potential futures waiting for action. Chasing a dream involves setting goals, planning, and pushing through setbacks. It means looking past the obstacles to see the possibilities, stepping out of comfort zones, acquiring new skills, and changing perspectives to make those dreams real.

And when opportunity presents itself Be ready to embrace it:
Opportunities can sneak up on you, often disguised as challenges or coincidences. Being prepared to embrace them means staying open, adaptable, and sometimes making quick decisions. Recognize when a moment could shift your path and have the courage to step through that door. Preparation is key - having the skills or knowledge ready when opportunity knocks.

Sadness can turn to happiness If you're willing to replace it:
Sadness is natural, but getting stuck in it can become a habit. Transforming it into happiness or at least contentment requires emotional work. Change your thought patterns, find joy in new experiences, or engage in uplifting activities. It's about replacing negative thoughts with positive or constructive ones, acknowledging that while you can't control every aspect of life, you can control your response to it.

Life is a journey and a gift...Stop trying to outrace it:
In our rush for success, we often forget that life isn't about the destination. Trying to "outrace" life means missing the present. This stanza urges us to live in the moment, to appreciate each step of the journey, and to see every experience, be it good or bad, as part of life's gift. It's an invitation to savor the journey, understanding that life's beauty lies in its unpredictability and its lessons, rather than racing to some imagined end.
