WHITE AURA

AURA

Your light shines so bright
My own personal beacon

You give me strength
Whenever I weaken

But you aren’t just mine
There’s others you heal

They seek you out
Because your power they feel

You need to be careful
So you won't get drained

They’ve done it before
Till no power remained

Like vampires in the night
They take more than they give

And you just keep giving
Because that’s how you live

Never before have I seen such a light
Glowing and vibrant, a beautiful white

An aura so pure and a gift that is strong
If you didn’t help others you’d think that was wrong

If I had the power, I’d give you some of mine
I don’t want you to dim. I only want you to shine

Eryn, I just read your poem "AURA," and it’s honestly beautiful your words paint such a vivid picture. The way you describe this person’s light as a "personal beacon" feels so intimate and real, like you’re in awe of how they lift you up when you’re down. I can tell they mean a lot to you. And that bit about them helping others too, even when it risks draining them that’s some deep insight. The vampire line’s killer; it’s such a sharp way to show how people can take too much.
The flow’s so smooth, and I love how you keep it personal with "you" all the way through it’s like I can feel your worry and care for them. That "glowing and vibrant, a beautiful white" aura? Stunning. You’ve got a knack for making it sound almost magical. And the ending offering your own power so they don’t dim that’s pure heart right there. It’s not about me, but , it makes me wish I knew someone this bright. Awesome poem, seriously.

This is so true of you the heights and depths of your efforts at the same time another person sees your truth your path and light when I feel low I come for a dose of you. You're always so supportive and encouraging to all there's no comparing such things you possess to what others have that would be like trying to dry off in the pool another poem to be loved by those who will read it

Love how you're just as concerned with the well being as you are with what you gain personally. Your beautiful soul shining through.
