Long Island Sound - A Poem By Justice James

When the sound is calm my heart knows peace for there is no storm to worry about not tonight

A smile to the face is sweetly worn as the music of grace as shifting tides prevail
Anchor away we cannot sail without the wind now we rest after mending tattered things
While in this cove Merry sounds reach our ears
  The waters calm
a woman stands upon the sands where the water meets
Does she mourn shedding tears or does she wait for whom she cares
