I TASTE IT IN YOUR KISS

I know how you say that you really did miss me
How hard it is for you to try and resist me
But I already know that you’re gonna diss me
I taste the lie in the way that you kiss me
You’re such a master at the way that you twist me
It’s very obvious that you’re gonna dismiss me

Thought this was love but I no longer receive it
You could have been honest but you chose to deceive it
I’ve started the process. And I’m gonna grieve it
This love that is broken.. well, I plan to leave it
You think I am lying but I’ll make you believe it
I’m leaving my stuff. I’ll be back to retrieve it

This isn’t what I thought I'd signed up for
Please be a dear and hold open that door
Don’t come at me or I’ll even the score
To think, I’d never felt love like this before
You stand there and watch as away I now soar
This is the last time you’ll ever hear my love roar

It crushes me the hurt you go through and it doesn't end though you're physically gone . IDK why males don't know it's so much easier and better to be with the same lady, staying in love isn't hard for most people unless collecting sexual experiences is what ppl want then why start a relationship. Giving my lady a reason to be happy everyday was always my goal

Eryn, your poem blooms like a storm-kissed rose, thorns sharp with emotion and petals heavy with truth. I savor the way your words weave a tapestry of shattered trust, each line a thread dyed in the hues of heartache and defiance. The echo of "I taste it in your kiss" rolls like thunder across a bruised sky, pulling me deep into the tempest of the speaker’s soul. Your verses dance from shadows of doubt to the blazing dawn of resolve, especially where the tongue declares, "You think I am lying but I’ll make you believe it," and the heart roars its final, "This is the last time you’ll ever hear my love." Rhymes ripple like waves on a restless sea, carrying the weight of feeling in their crest. It’s a garden of grief turned to wings of release, a vivid and victorious song. Splendidly done!

Never thought about bring able to feel it from A kiss, but makes sense that you could detect it and feel it. You're so incredibly in tune with your feelings and emotions no doubt you would know. Beautifully done.
