DANCING WITH YOUR GHOST

Dancing With Your Ghost

The pain I feel’s unbearable
As I mourn my dearest friend
But I’ll keep dancing with your ghost
Until the day we meet again

You were more than just my friend
You were my other half
The one who always found a way
To make me belly laugh

It never seemed to matter
All the miles in between
In my eyes you were a hero
And to you, I was a queen

So yes, I’ll keep on dancing
With my arms around your ghost
And until that day we meet again
Each night, to you… I’ll toast
