Blazing

BLAZING - An Original Poem By Eryn Dunbar©️

Gun's blazing.

I'm out of my mind.

On an adventure.

I am hoping to find.

Like minded creatures.

Out for the night.

Using my gifts.

My own second sight.

I see you.

Are you aware?

Watching you move.

Through the night air.

I am enthralled.

You move with such grace.

Trying to focus.

To make out your face.

I hurry my steps.

To match your fast pace.

Feel the night breeze.

I am trying to race.

To catch up.

I need to be near.

Do not be scared.

I am nothing to fear.

We are written.

I feel like it's fate.

That you are my future.

My one fated mate.

Together.

We will become strong.

Forever.

We can do no wrong.

Eye's blazing.

I'm now holding your hand.

Entangled as one.

Together we stand.

Up on our feet.

Is how we will land.

A magical journey.

As Woman and Man.

Hi, Eryn!
A great poem that tells an age old story…. My heart tells me there is an identical match, but in all my years I have yet to find the exact match, though I am much older than you. That said, I have no doubt you will find that elusive love that will be more than your partner, your mate, but the other half of your soul and you will complete each other and move through life as one family.
I am your “Anonymous Fan” from the other day and your reply was very kind. I find I am looking forward to reading more and more of your verse!
I hope we get to chat about Mississippi, one day; I have much love for some relatives there.

Miss Eryn, I truly look forward to becoming acquainted, but please, for my own wellbeing, please use my given name of “c m” as “Mr Adams” is too stuuf in this informal setting.

The journey all empaths make when trying to connect with another one, when it happens it must be better than a lottery win.

You've got it, C M! Sounds much better and less stuffy, you are right!

Yes Tim, it can definitely be difficult finding your tribe. I couldn't have said it better myself!
