THE GIRL IN THE COFFEE SHOP

The girl in the coffee shop
Does she know how he feels

When she walks in the door
He lets out cute little squeals

Does she ever just catch him
Staring her way

Or putting extra foam
In her vanilla latte

The girl in the coffee shop
He's got such a mad crush

He looks for her daily
And waits through the rush

Just a glimpse of her face
And his day has been made

But then the crowd's gone
And he wished she had stayed

When she gets to the front
And gives him that smile

And then he gets lost
In her eyes for a while

The girl in the coffee shop
He's asked her for a date

She replies with a yes
And he knows that it's fate

The date goes so well
Next thing you know it's a year

He loves her with passion
And holds her so dear

He got down on one knee
Please always share this life

The girl in the coffee shop
Is now a loved wife

I like that. So much can happen with a glance and a sip, the anticipation of both. I also have a coffee ☕️ shop poem, though mine is edgy
