OUR BEGINNING AND OUR END

OUR BEGINNING AND OUR END

WE STARTED OUT STRONG BUT THEN FADED TO BLACK

I THOUGHT THAT I'D MISS YOU BUT I DON'T WANT YOU BACK

THE GAMES THAT YOU PLAYED, WHERE YOU'D STRING ME ALONG

I THOUGHT YOU WERE MINE BUT I GOT IT ALL WRONG

NOW HERE I'VE MOVED ON BUT YOU'RE WANTING BACK IN

WE COULD HAVE BEEN MAGIC BUT YOU WERE ALL ABOUT SIN

I'M LOCKING MY HEART'S DOOR, YOU CAN'T RETURN HOME

I NO LONGER CARE WHEREVER YOU ROAM

YOU'VE LIED AND YOU'VE CHEATED AND I'M GLAD THAT YOUR GONE

I'VE FOUND MY OWN PATH, I'VE FOREVER MOVED ON

I'm relieved that you don't mention anything absorbing his foolish self put you through. It's rare that you don't but I know when awful things happen repeatedly whatever they are, I've turned it around on to my fault eventually losing sight of my value in the world then hurting myself as if that fixes things. You're a giant in my eyes that fills my heart with your kindness,

Yes, this was a clean break (For me anyway). I wanted no more to do with his foolishness.

Eryn, describes a relationship that began with hope but ended in disappointment due to deceit and manipulation. She initially thought she would miss her partner but now realizes she does not want them back. Her partner played manipulative games, leading Eryn to wrongly believe in the relationship's genuineness. Having moved on, Eryn firmly decides against allowing her partner back into her life, recognizing their true, sinful nature. She has emotionally shut down, feeling liberated and indifferent to where her partner now roams, expressing relief at their departure and confidence in her choice to progress alone.

Phrase i remember hearing from my grandmother. "You can do bad all by yourself, you don't need any help in that area. Good for you realizing it.
